Tracking, without being tracked.

The portfolio tracker that never sees your portfolio.

Every portfolio tracker asks the same unspoken price, a live copy of your net worth on someone's server, linked to your email, forever. gains.tax tracks holdings, per-wallet balances and complete history entirely in your browser. No account exists, no copy leaves your machine, and the network tab will confirm it while you watch.

Open the tracker Free, no signup, nothing uploaded.

Holdings that add up, provably

Balances are computed per wallet from the underlying transactions, with transfer linking between your own wallets and a named reason when something does not reconcile. Not a number you trust, a number you can open.

History from anywhere

Import from Koinly, CoinLedger, CoinTracking or CoinTracker, Coinbase, Kraken and Binance statements, any CSV, or scan Bitcoin and six EVM chains directly. Row counts reconcile on screen.

Prices on your terms

Market prices are fetched only when you ask, against assets, never your amounts. Your quantities and balances stay local, always.

The tax engine is already inside

The same file computes UK capital gains under HMRC's matching rules, with the rule named on every disposal and a full report suite, free below 1,000 transactions. A tracker and the tax answer, one file, zero uploads.

Why trackers normally cost your privacy.

Cloud trackers are databases of who owns what, updated live, tied to identities. That is a breach target, a subpoena target and a marketing asset, and you are the product being tracked. The architecture here removes the database rather than promising to guard it, the same design our security page explains and our privacy explainer examines across the industry. Keep your own backup with the app's session export, sovereignty includes the responsibility.

Fair questions.

Is there a crypto portfolio tracker that does not track me
Yes, this one. gains.tax holds your portfolio in your browser storage on your machine. There is no account, no server copy, and no analytics on your holdings, which you can verify in the network tab.
How are prices fetched without exposing my portfolio
Price lookups request market prices for assets, explicitly and only when you use them. Your quantities, balances and history are never transmitted, pricing happens against your locally held amounts.
What does it track
Holdings per asset and per wallet, sterling values, per-wallet balance checks with transfer linking, and the full transaction history behind every figure, imported from the big tax apps, exchange statements, on-chain scans or CSV.
